The first annual golf tournament to benefit Jefferson Baseball was held last Friday, March 6th, at Double Oaks Golf Course in Commerce. Coach Knight started the event by thanking all those who participated and wishing the golfers luck! Although is was a little brisk, participation was great and the golfers seemed to enjoy the day! Scattered around the course were over thirty signs recognizing hole sponsors. Special thanks to The Sign Bros. in Athens for donating the signs. Also thanks to Double Oaks for allowing us to host the event, Mark Speed with Speed Fitness and Performance for donating Fitness certificates and Fit to a Tee Athletics for donating shirts for raffle prizes.
South East Baseball finished in a strong first place, Wall Technologies finished second and White House Salon third.
It was a very successful tournament and we look forward to continuing the tradition next year!
