JV Game 5 - Jefferson (10) @ North Oconee C-Team (2)

Jefferson's JV Baseball team was back on the field this week, to play on the road against the Titans of North Oconee.  The Dragons played two games this week versus North Oconee, with this first game versus their C-Team.  The Dragons jumped on the Titans quickly scoring 4 runs in the 1st inning and then continually kept the pressure rolling in route to a decisive 10-2 win.  #12 Terrell Wall helped lead the offensive charge for the Dragons, going 2-for-3 and scoring a couple runs.  #17 Caleb Chandler contributed to the offensive punch going 1-for-3 and driving in 2 RBI in the 1st.  #6 Kasan Rainey also went 1-for-3 and drove in a run off a Sacrifice Fly in the 6th, and #19 Logan Garner was 1-for-1 with an RBI single in the 6th.  On the mound, Garner got the start and kept the Titans relatively quite in 4 innings of work, recording 7 Ks and allowing only 2 runs off 2 hits in the 1st.  After that, the Titans stayed off the board. #22 Brooks Beddow, came on in relief in the 5th and closed out the game for the Dragons.  In 3 innings of work, Beddow recorded 4 Ks and did not give up any hits or runs to help solidify the win.  The Dragons now stand at 4-0-1 for the season and move to take on North Oconee's JV team in a make-up game Saturday.
